About Dr. Mahmud Hasan

Dr. Mahmud Hasan is a knee and shoulder joint specialist and arthroscopic surgeon at the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR / Pongu Hospital), Dhaka — the country's leading orthopaedic hospital.

Training & experience

He graduated in medicine (MBBS), joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Health), and completed his MS in Orthopaedic Surgery. To specialise further, he completed a Fellowship in Arthroscopic Surgery in India and received special training in shoulder joint and knee surgery at NITOR.

He is a member of the Bangladesh Shoulder Society and is registered with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC Reg. No. A-68566).
